There is no separate installation procedure for WEB version of the KPOST. One can SIGNUPas follows:

1.https://www.kpostindia.com/ open the KPOST web site.

2.Click the SIGNUP link on the top bar above the menu bar.

3.Click ‘Personal’ to SIGNUP as an Individual User.

4.Give the basic details like Name, Date of birth and mobile number with country code.

5.Click Send OTP and enter the received OTP and get the mobile validated.

6.Enter the your preferred kpost Id. System will let you know if it is available. Else you can view the recommended suggestions from KPOST.

7. Enter the password and REGISTER

8.Login using your new credentials.

This feature is available only for Mobile devices.

Currently this feature is available for mobile phone devices only.

1. Go to Menu> Setup> Change Password.

2. Provide the Old password for verification.

3. On verification provide the new password.

There two ways to change the profile photo.
1. Click on the image on the profile image at the top right corner of the KPOST dashboard.

2. Go to Menu> setup>Profile

Click on the Camera icon on the Profile image.

a. Select the picture

b. Crop the picture as required

1. Go to Menu> setup>Profile> About > Privacy Settings

2. First toggle button – to Show/Hide the Profile from the KDirectory search.

3. By default, the switch would be in Show mode, which is in OFF position.

4. To hide your details from KDirectory search, set the Switch to ON position.

2. Second toggle button – to Show/Hide the DOB and mobile number in Digital card and Profile View.

1. Users can use the KPOST ID or Mobile number to login into the KPOST.

2. Password would be in masked mode by default.

3. In case User forgets his User ID/Password, Help is provided.

4. In case User does not have KPOST account , SIGN UP link is provided to Signup Kpost.

2. 2. If it is valid ID, System returns the User’s Name in case Personal Account.

3. If it is an Enterprise Account, it will give the Enterprise name and User’s (OCC’s - Open Communication Channel) Name.

4. User to give the valid Password to get the access to OCC.

1. Select the Country and enter the Mobile number.

2. System will display the multiple OCC names where the given mobile number is registered.

3. User to Select the OCC from the list, which he wants to access.

4. User to give the valid Password for the OCC selected to get the access.

Login with Access code feature is not available to WEB interface as of now.

Login with finger print feature is not available to WEB interface as of now.

For Personal Users, System will send the KPOST ID in an SMS to the registered Primary mobile number.

For Admin controlled Enterprises, Admin will help their Users. The Users will be given inputs on how to access their Admin.

For Personal Users, System will send the Password in an SMS to the registered Primary mobile number. In the new procedure, it would be sent to Account recovery mobile number after a validating the User with a few stored questions.

For Admin controlled Enterprises, Admin will help their Users. The Users will be given inputs on how to access their Admin.

For Web interface, the method of access to KPOST is same, irrespective of the ownership of the laptop/desktop. Open the Web page of KPOST (kpostindia.com for India) and click the LOGIN link.

1. Integrated Dashboard with details of KMail, Katchup and Kall in a date-wise reverse chronological order in the First vertical section/Pane.

2. In the 2nd vertical Pane – Diary of the User would be available once it is activated.

3. In the 3rd vertical pane, KNews links with a brief are displayed.

4. Vertical Menu is visible on hovering the mouse over it.

5. A click of 3rd line icon above the menu, opens the Menu permanently.

6. A click on User’s Profile image on the top right corner will display the log in status and also displays LOGOUT button.

7. The Language list next to Profile image on the top right corner allows User to select the language he prefers to view the application in that language.

Click any Kmail record on the Dashboard to open the Mail directly.

Click any Katchup record on the Dashboard to open the Mail directly.

Two Ways:
1. Pull the Slider down on the Dashboard, to view the communication of the previous days.

2. Click the Calendar, click on a past date to view the communication records from that date.

Click on the Language on the top right corner of the Home page, next to the profile image. Select from the List of languages that are displayed to view the application in that language.

Knews briefs with links are provided on the 3rd vertical section/pane of the Dashboard. One can Click the link , copy the Link provided to paste it in browser to view the News.

User can filter the communication records on the dashboard based on the module like Kmail, Katchup or Kall. Currently this feature is not active.

Click on Copy/Confidential copy icon to get the display of the message with Copy/CC details and the read/unread status. In case of read status, time stamp is also available. From here itself , the User can connect to the Copy/CC contacts on Katchup and Kall by clicking the respective icons provided against each of these contacts.

Click ‘I’ icon to get the display of the message and also the read/unread status of each of the group member. The User can connect to any of these group members on Katchup and Kall by clicking the respective icons provided against each of these contacts.

Recents Tab:
1. Provides Message focussed information.

2. Unread messages listed contact-wise on a horizontal scroll.

3. Search and Advanced Search on the Messages

4. Messages in date-wise reverse chronological order with latest on top.

5. Calendar to view the messages from a date

Contacts Tab:
6. Contacts tab provides Contact focussed information.

7. Provides Frequently accessed contacts

8. Search and Advanced Search on contacts/Groups.

9. Contacts Grouped type-wise (Personal, Business, Institutions and Gov) in alphabetical order.

Recents tab : Use Search box for a word search.

Recents tab : Use the Calendar icon to select a past date to view the messages from that date.

Advanced Search allows you to filter the records before the string is searched to make the search fast and quick. ( currently not available in WEB version)

Floating menu is not provided in Web version.

Contact tab : Use the Search box for a word search. System Will display the all the contacts, Groups with the word searched for, in the name, profession, reference

Contacts Tab : Click on the Grid /List icon provided next to Search box to change the way the contacts are listed in GRID/List way.

Contacts are displayed on the top of the list and Groups are displayed later. Scroll up the page to see the Groups which are displayed below the contacts.

Click on the ‘Add contact icon’ next to Contacts Label. It will open the KDirectory, so that a contact can be searched. After the search returns the required contact, click on ‘ADD to contacts’ Button and provide the reference

All messages both incoming from and sent to a contact are stored in the Contact’s folder. This folder can be opened by
1. Clicking the message received from the contact or a message sent to the contact From the RECENTS tab of Katchup dashboard OR from the KPOST Dashboard

2. Click open the contact from the Contacts list of Contacts tab of Katchup dashboard.

Click open the Folder of the Contact. Enter the Subject and content of the message in the subject and Content boxes provided at the bottom of the screen in the folder. Once created , Click POST icon provided next to message Content Box to SEND the message.

Subject to a message is a very useful feature, where User can search on the subject. But It is Optional. It can be given in the Subject box provided at the bottom of the contact’s folder, above the message content box.

A reminder can be sent by Sender to a message which was sent already. The sender has to click the Bell icon on the message and click the Reminder option from the Menu. Enter the text in the content and click POST to send the Reminder message.

Note can be made on a SENT message. Click the Bell icon on the SENT message and Click the NOTE option from the menu. Enter the content of the Note in the message box. Click the POST icon to Send the Note message.

1. Click Bell icon on the Sent message

2. Click Edit option in the menu

3. The Message sent will be available in the Content box for EDIT.

4. Edit the content and Click POST to send the edited message .

1. Click Bell icon on a sent message or Reply icon on received message.

2. Click Translate option

3. The message gets translated in he language selected .

2. Click Recall option. (A message can be recalled till it is in UNREAD status and RECALL option will be available only when the message is eligible for a RECALL)

3. The message will be RECALLED.

1. Click the Bell icon on a RECALLED message.

2. Select ‘Edit & Repost’.

3. The message content will be ready for an Edit. Edit the content.

4. Click POST to send the Edited message.

1. Click the Bell icon on the Recalled message.

2. Select ‘Delete’ option.

Click the ‘Star’ icon on any message to mark it Starred- Important. The star will be Bolded.

Click the ‘Star’ icon which is bolded on the message. The message will be unmarked as important one.

Currently this feature is not enabled in WEB.

2. Click on the ‘Copies’ icon provided at the subject line.

3. Select the Contacts from the list and select the mode of the message is to be sent as a COPY or a CONFIDENTIAL COPY.

4. Click POST button to send the message in copies and confidential copies.

‘More’ menu offers additional operations for one message and for multiple messages. It is available as three dot icon (…) at the folder level next to Kmail option. User can also invoke this option by Clicking ‘More’ option with a click on ‘Bell’ icon and Reply icon on SENT and RECEIVED messages respectively. Options available are a. Forward
b. Share
c. Copy
d. Save
e. Delete

1. Click Bell icon/ Reply icon for a SENT/ RECEIVED message.

2. Click ‘More’ option in the menu.

3. Click forward option from the menu displayed at the bottom of the screen.

4. Select the Contacts from the List to whom the message is to be forwarded.

5. Enter the forward note in the Message box shown below the contacts listing.

6. Else , Leave it blank.

7. Click POST to FORWARD the message.

1. Click Bell icon/ Reply icon for a SENT/ RECEIVED message.

2. Click ‘More’ option in the menu.

3. Click SHARE option from the menu displayed at the bottom of the screen.

4. Select the Contacts from the List to whom the message is to be SHARED.

5. Select if you want to reveal the Source of the Message or Hide the Source.

6. Enter the SHARE note in the Message box shown below the contacts listing.

7. Else , Leave it blank.

Click POST to SHARE the message.

1. Click Bell icon/ Reply icon for a SENT/ RECEIVED message.

2. Click ‘More’ option in the menu.

3. Click ‘DELETE’ option from the Menu.

4. Confirm the Delete in the pop-up dialogue box.

5. System Deletes the Message and pop-up notification confirms the deletion.

1. Click Bell icon/ Reply icon for a SENT/ RECEIVED message.

2. Click ‘More’ option in the menu.

3. Select the important messages to be SAVED.

4. Click ‘SAVE’ option from the Menu.

5. Confirm the Delete in the pop-up dialogue box.

6. System Deletes the Message and a pop-up notification confirms the deletion.

1. Click Bell icon/ Reply icon for a SENT/ RECEIVED message.

2. Click ‘More’ option in the menu.

3. Check Select All box.

4. Confirm the SELECT ALL operation in the Pop-up box by clicking OK.

Click on the Kmail icon on the right top corner of the Folder page, just below the Contact’s header .

Click on the WRITE MAIL icon on the right top corner of the Folder page, just below the Contact’s header .

Click on the KALL icon on the right top corner of the Folder page, just below the Contact’s header. Currently , the Kall icon is not provided in the WEB version.

1. Click on the ‘CLIP’ icon on the right top corner of the Folder page, just below the Contact’s header.

2. It will open the device’s explorer to select the right file for attachment.

3. Select the file and Click OPEN

4. The system will attach the file to the Message

With a pop-up notification.

This feature is disabled currently in WEB version for improvement.

Click on ‘Write Mail’ menu option to open the Write Mail Page to create a new mail.

4. Type to add any email IDs from outside KPOST for copies in ‘Copy Others’ field.

5. Type to add any email IDs from outside KPOST for Confidential copies in ‘Confidential Copy Others’ field.

6. Finally Click ‘ADD/SAVE’ button.

Click the Location Icon below the Add Copy/CC button.

Currently this feature is NOT ACTIVE in WEB version.

Select ‘Low/Medium/High’ as priority which is given next to Subject Line.

1. Click ‘CLIP’ icon provided at the bottom of Write Mail Page.

2. Select the file from the directory page that is opened.

3. Click OPEN on the Directory listing page to load the file to Kmail.

4. The file is attached to the Kmail with a notification to that effect.

1. Open the Kmail of a contact

2. Click the 3 vertical dot icon provided at the top right corner of the opened Kmail to open the Menu.

3. Select Print from the menu

4. The Mail is displayed in Printable format.

5. Click ‘PRINT’ button provided , if the format is good to go else Click ‘CLOSE’ to exit the print.

1. Click ‘SAVE DRAFT’ icon provided at the bottom of the Write Mail Page.

2. Currently this feature is NOT ACTIVE in WEB version.

Click on ‘CLEAR COMPOSE MAIL’ icon provided at the bottom of the Write Mail Page.

1. Go to SETUP>Kmail in the Menu>Letter head

2. Select the preferred Letter Head from the multiple options provided.

(Currently feature is disabled. Will be back.)

1. Go to SETUP>Kmail in the Menu>Mail Signature

2. Create your signature OR edit your signature

3. Click ‘Save’ to save the creation/Changes.

2. Click on ‘+’ icon to create a new instant message.

3. Type the message and Click ‘CREATE’ button.

System will automatically send a Katchup message for each of Kmails received from other KPOST users. No separate set up is required .

1. Click ‘Write Mail’ to open the Write Mail page.

2. Click the ‘Draft mails’ tab on the right pane.

3. Contact-wise draft mails are displayed

4. Select the draft mail which needs to be worked on. The data is fetched on the Write Mail page.

5. Complete the draft and POST it.

2. Click on the ‘Formatting Options’ icon provided at the bottom of the page to invoke the Formatting options bar.

4. Alternatively, scroll down the Mail, click the REPLY icon at the bottom of the mail to open the Reply Mail page.

5. Type in the Reply and click ‘POST’ to send the Reply Mail.

2. Click the 3 vertical dot icon on the top right corner - to open the Menu.

3. Click the COMMENT in the menu to open the Comment Mail page for typing the Comment.

4. Alternatively, scroll down the Mail, click the COMMENT icon at the bottom of the mail to open the Comment Mail page.

Type in the Comment and click ‘POST’ to send the Comment Mail.

2. Click the 3 vertical dot icon on the top right corner - to open the Menu.

3. Click the CLARIFY in the menu to open the Clarify Mail page for typing the Clarification.

4. Alternatively, scroll down the Mail, click the CLARIFY icon at the bottom of the mail to open the Clarify Mail page.

Type in the Clarification and click ‘POST’ to send the Clarification Mail.

In the RECENTS tab, Left Pointing Directional arrow at the bottom of the contact profile image denotes a SENT mail.

Click on the SENT mail to view the mail.

1. Click open the Sent Mail > click open the 3 dot menu> select the Reminder option

2. Reminder Mail opens> Enter Reminder message if any > click POST button to send the reminder mail.

Enter the name or part of the name in the SEARCH box and Click SEARCH, to get the list of Contacts with searched string in their Name, Profession, Reference.

Click on the Profile image of the contact to view the contact’s digital card.

There are 3 tabs on the KALL Dashboard.

2. Katchup Kall
3. Kall history.
Click the Kall history Tab to view the Kall history

Click on any Contact on the Contact tab to view the Kall options of audio and Video. Click on Audio or Video to start the Kall. ( This feature is not available in WEB version at this point)

There are 3 tabs.
1. Contacts – all contacts are listed and they are searchable. Click on any Contact to get a pop-up to make a Audio/Video Kall.

2. Katchup Kall:

a. It displays the list of Katchup Kalls.

b. You can join the Katchup Kall by clicking ‘JOIN’.

c. You can create new Katchup Kall from here.

3. Kall history – list of all Kalls so far happened.

In the Kall history page/tab, when you click the Filter icon, you can select the type of Kalls from Missed Kalls, Received Kalls, Dialled Kalls, Cancelled Kalls and All Kalls. ( This Feature is NOT available in WEB version as of now)
